Oral care: Brush with soft bristle brush. Changes brushes frequently and keep brush clean. Avoid irritation of alcohol mouthwashes. Avoid dental procedures during chemo as bacteria count in mouth goes way up.

- Red spots on mouth or tongue - bacteria - Dr. may perscribe peroxide mouth rinse
- White spots - yeast or fungal
- Grey: mucositis - canker sores - salt and baking soda, peroxide rinse
